Course Description:

This course is ideal for the experienced therapist who treats shoulder pathologies as well as therapists who are preparing for the CHT Exam.  The course will advance the clinicians understanding of Total and Reverse Total Shoulder Arthroplasty and how to effectively return this patient population back to the sport of life.

Objectives:

The learner will:

• Study and discuss the management of total and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty.
• Study the rationale behind the application of the total shoulder arthroplasty and the reverse total shoulder arthroplasty surgical procedures.
• Participate in the establishment of evidence-based treatment following total and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty.
• Participate in the establishment of evidence-based exercise/activity following total and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty
